Caregiver/Child Programs

All of our caregiver/child programs are designed to provide social experiences for both children and caregivers, creating a supportive network for the early years. Our free Saturday Playgroups consist of casual drop-in sessions, while our weekday classes provide planned activities to support children’s development.

Join us on Wednesday mornings for a cozy and creative indoor exploration inspired by the beauty of nature. Perfect for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers, Tiny Tea Time offers a gentle introduction to the wonders of the natural world through sensory play, nature-inspired art, music, and storytelling.

Led by experienced educator Alison Meehan, these sessions provide an enriching experience for young children, supporting language and cognitive development, fine and gross motor skills, and sensory processing. Caregivers can also enjoy a supportive, welcoming environment while engaging in meaningful activities alongside their little ones.

Our mornings begin with a warm welcome and an exploratory play time, including sensory play and some very first art experiences designed to spark creativity and connection to nature.

This will be followed by Tea Time, when children and caregivers are invited to join for some child-friendly herbal tea, and a simple snack. The session will include stories and songs that celebrate the changing seasons and the world around us, creating an atmosphere of joy and discovery.

When the weather permits, we’ll extend our exploration outdoors with a gentle ramble through our child-friendly forest. These short walks provide opportunities to connect directly with the natural world, fostering curiosity and wonder. Children will be encouraged to observe, collect treasures, and experience the forest with all their senses.
