Caregiver/Child Programs
All of our caregiver/child programs are designed to provide social experiences for both children and caregivers, creating a supportive network for the early years. Our free Saturday Playgroups consist of casual drop-in sessions, while our weekday classes provide planned activities to support children’s development.

Join us on Wednesday mornings for a sweet little snack & ramble, around and about our forest and creek. Nourish your child’s relationship to the rich landscape of our Catskill Mountains, while also experiencing for yourself the many benefits of time spent in nature. Led by experienced educator Chelsea Snider, these weekly sessions are intended to create mutual support for parents, while providing numerous developmental benefits for young children, from language & cognitive development to motor development and sensory processing. Child-friendly herbal tea and a simple snack will be available.
We will begin in the classroom with a welcome activity and tea time. Then prepare to set off for a short walk to our Song & Story Spot in the forest to inspire listening and looking with time to freely explore the land. Forest Gathering baskets will be on lend for treasures found on the way back to the classroom before saying “Toodaloo!”
